FROM THE EAST...
Greetings brethren,
It has been a while since our last Trestle Board (since January to be exact) but I think that we are finally back on track! I would like to thank our Asst. Secretary RWB Bob Moon and RWB Steve Allinson for taking over the secretarial duties of the lodge in RWB Doug’s absence. I am happy to report that Doug and Marie are now living at Ashlar village and Doug is doing great. I would also like to thank WB Micheal Calderone for putting together the Trestle Board and to Bro. Scott Abrahms for stepping in as Tyler to replace Bro. Walt Miller who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. It seems like this year is flying by, but we have a lot to show for it: we have been very busy with degree work, helping our charities and still have a full schedule going into the fall/winter. Our great new website is up and running (thank you Bros. Sal and Fred) and Constant Contact is in place (thank you RWB Steve) I hope that you are all taking advantage of the hard work that has been put into these updated information tools. I have to say, what an honor and pleasure it has been thus far to be Master of Old Hiram and I am looking forward to being productive through the remainder of the year. I am very proud of the officer line this year; everyone has been doing an awesome job. Our inspection night was flawless! I know that Hiram Lodge No.1 is in good hands for years to come. Brothers please come to Lodge, set aside two nights per month to be with your brothers and family.
I hope to see you all soon.
Sincerely and Fraternally,
Glenn A. Jacques
Worshipful Master
